It was revealed at D23 that a new groundbreaking type of Star Wars hotel experience will be coming to Disney World Florida.
The Halycon is a member of the Chandrila Star Line where guests will have a two-night all inclusive experience where they interact with the ship, the story, and characters.
The ship will be fully immersive, with windows that look out to space as ships (and I’m assuming some easter eggs) pass by.
Per the Disney Parks website:
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be a new, first-of-its-kind vacation experience where guests will check in for a two-night adventure aboard a glamorous starship. Once onboard, guests will interact with characters and become active participants in stories that unfold around them on their galactic journey.
Chandrila is the birthplace of Ben (Kylo Ren) Solo and Mon Mothma, as well as Following the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Chandrila became the capital of the New Republic and the seat of the newly formed Galactic Senate as a tribute to the Republic of old.
No news on when The Halycon will set sail on its maiden voyage, but hopefully more will be reveled at D23 this weekend.
